  • We offer packages starting from $2930.00 for a seven-night stay.

    This includes your accommodation, a breathwork and group sound healing session, morning movement practices, daily vitals checks, art therapy, blood work analysis (if required), hot/cold therapy, pre & post-fast preparation guides & unlimited access to healing tools during your stay.

    For each additional week, a discount applies (inquire within).

  • It’s important to understand that Tolman Wellness Centre is a space for you to fast without the distractions of food, work, home life and relationships. Whilst there are in-house services on offer such as massage and other complementary therapies, we don’t subscribe to a structured, busy daily schedule for you to follow. What we do offer is the spaciousness to fast in a calm, supportive environment, that allows you the time to integrate the experience, rest, journal, slow down and take life at a slower pace. As your digestion slows, many people tend to go inwards, finding time to reflect, read, sleep, journal, do puzzles - just be as your body recalibrates.

  • Whether you are interested in fasting to target generalised or specific health concerns or are fasting to optimise an already healthy lifestyle, many people benefit from the practice of water fasting. People who have fasted previously have seen reduced blood pressure, improved gut health, and reduced cholesterol and inflammation. It can aid in increased metabolic function and assist in regulating blood sugar levels. It has been seen to aid heart health, decreasing free radicals and detoxifying the body from cellular damage that can cause ill health.   • It’s important to prepare mentally & physically for a water fast to get the most benefit from your efforts.

    Just as a bear would stock up on energy reserves prior to going into hibernation, pre-fast is the time to load up on nutrition from whole food, plant based sources - think nuts, seeds, legumes, grains, fruits, vegetables etc, leaving nothing off the table.

    We highly recommend removing processed sugar, processed carbohydrates, caffeine, alcohol and meat in the lead-up to your fast.

    Cleansing the colon is key, as during a 10-day water fast, the digestive system eventually stops, which means you want a clean and clear digestive tract.

    Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a detailed pre-fast preparation guide to follow, to make it easy.

  • Most people find a two-week fast the perfect start to their fasting journey. We know that a 2 - 4 week stay is optimal to see lasting results and change. We recommend you book a phone call with us if you have questions about specific health goals. From our discussion, we can recommend a length of time that from experience we consider to be most beneficial for your health targets.

  • It’s important to understand the benefits of each type of fast and formulate the length & method based on certain indicators.

    Some things we consider are your previous fasting history and current health status, taking into account any illness, (mental or physical) to ensure we can optimise your stay and offer the right type of fast for your circumstances & health goals.

  • Before your fast, we will contact you with a list of bloodwork that need to be completed before the commencement of your fast (depending on the length of your fast).

    Some key markers need to be met to be safe for fasting, and these bloods will be reviewed by Thor.

    On some occasions, you will be required to perform bloodwork again during your fast. This will be at your own cost & is one of the only times you are required to leave the centre.

    Thor will inform you of the bloodwork analysis required.

    You will need to arrange your blood requisition form via a GP, which can then be taken to a local collection centre nearby.

    The requirement of additional bloods at times is to ensure your ongoing safety during your fasting journey.

  • Our fasts are booked in 7-day week increments and begin on Mondays. Check-in is every Monday at 2:00pm, and departure is the subsequent Monday at 10am. (depending on the length of your stay).

  • There are three secure bedrooms at the centre, each with its own bathroom.

    All living spaces are shared with other fasters.

    Our friendly cleaner Carol comes once a week, meaning it is the responsibility of all residents to respectfully tidy up after themselves in all shared spaces.

    Many people have created lifelong friendships and connections in the centre, and whilst we encourage this, our community guidelines ask that all fasters display appropriate behaviour and social conduct at all times to ensure each and every guest feels safe, comfortable and at home during their stay.

    Any offensive behaviour may result in your fast being terminated.
