Kate is a passionate cold-water swimmer, inspired to share the incredible benefits of cold water with everyone she meets. Her personal health and wellbeing turned around from the moment she first dipped her toe in, to now being hooked! Kate’s plight to accelerate her own personal health & wellness led her to train with Shamash Aladina in the UK, as a mindfulness and meditation coach. Kate says mindful-based therapies have been shown to reduce anxiety and depression and reduce high blood pressure, to which she can personally attest.
For more than 30 years, Kate has performed in many roles that required her to lead, motivate and support people. As Tolman Wellness Centre’s Guest Support Officer, you can trust you are in safe hands as Kate guides you through your fasting journey. Live, love, ‘larf’, is her motto, and with Kate’s passionate and nurturing approach, you’ll find her presence a strong source of support, always coming away from a conversation with Kate feeling heard, seen and lighter.
